Hello all,
I was recently contacted to work on a new feature as an assistant editor where my job would be to do omf outputs for the sound guys and manage the VFX workflow. My question is, what exactly does all of this entail? I'm sure to some of you out there, this would be child's play, but I am trying to make the switch work-wise from the G/E world to editorial and this gig would help. I've worked in post before in television (digitizing, string outs, etc), but not on films, so I'm just trying to find out exactly what I will be doing and how I do it. If you're able to shed some light and inform me more I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!!!
