Oldest version of premiere compatible with 2.0 upgrade?

The Adobe site is vague about this. I just installed the upgrade, and it asked for "A valid serial number from a previous version of Premiere". I gave it my 6.5 serial #. Good luck getting info from Adobe about this. I first e-mailed Adobe using the customer service page, and got a response to call using an out of date 800 number.

Yes. The 6.5 serial number worked fine with the Pro 2.0 upgrade.
