How can I get a old movie effect on FCP ?

While you can do it in FCP, the best plugin I've seen is Nattress Filters:

I've used his version and loved it.

Just to add to it a little, Rob. With the Nattress filter, you can easily vary the amount of grain, scratches, dirt, hairs, vignetting, film damage and desaturation as well as some things I'm probably forgetting.

I just used the nattress old movie filter in this car show video I put together. The first few shots are mixture of things including the Nattress Old Movie Filter, Desaturated clips, Actual Police car lights flashing then Composited with the footage of the cars. The clips with color, I used the Nattress, G Film Basic Warm Filter with the G Deinterlacer.
