Does anyone have a step by step way on creating this effect?
I have seen it done any different ways and i think prosthetics/Silicon look and feel more real.
IF you have any Ideas and have done this yourself or know a website with steps.
It would be very helpful.
Also if you know where to purchase the materials ONLINE as well.
THANK YOU

I found this awhile back,.. it's apossibility anyway. But first I have to say: I have never used this company, never bought anything from them, and cannot vouch for them in any way. Take it for what it's worth.

They have an "Old Age" prosthetic, ..the above link should be for step by step instructions on applying make up for it. They appear to have a lot of neat looking prosthetics. But I've never dealt with them.

YEa this looks good.
I need two of them for my movie.
Do u think they would work well for HD footage cause i know some are Theater Use only.

How old does the person have to be? Most off the shelf prosthetics will require a VERY good paint job to make them look ok. Gelatin is the best material to use on a tight budget if you are making it yourself. Are we talking The Hunger or Little Big Man old?

The other thing that you can do is use an old age stipple technique. You basically stretch the skin taught and stipple a light layer of liquid latex on an area and let dry. When you relax the skin after drying and powdering, it naturally wrinkles. Finish it off by subtly highlighting and shadowing the face with standard makeup. You can add about 10 years or so to someone that way.

Here are some individual pieces that will help retain movement in the face as opposed to a full face prosthetic. Use prosaide adhesive to apply them, and paint with either rubber mask grease paint, or mix acrylic paint with the prosaide to make PAX paint. You will need to use Isopropyl Myristate to remove the pieces and PAX as they are very tenacious.
