Old Files To New Reel

I have some old reel samples that I want to drop into DVD Studio Pro.

Rendered in Vegas. MPG2's with the audio embedded.

When I import to DVD Studio pro, it says it's incompatible. When I import into FCP the audio track doesn't show up.

What am I missing?

Maybe your audio sample rate is 44kHz (from AudioCD or even 32kHz from DV camera) and Vegas didn't upconvert this to DVD-compatible 48kHz?
Don't know about FCP, but some applications show only video track (not separate audio track) when MPEG2 audio is compressed to MP2 or AC3.
