Old Dog, New Tricks

Hello, all.

I'm an old still camera dog--I've been photographing for pay since 1972 starting as a photojournalist, then going into weddings and portraits. I've just retired from a purely portrait orientation, but I'm retooling and retraining into DSLR video. I intend to do primarily interviews and short documentary work--really kind of going back to my roots, but that is now a video world.

Hi

You might want to consider a cam with decent audio. Id say getting pretty pictures is kind of low on the list - learn some structure. Also cut your own work - once you cut you know what to shoot.
