So I got my Oktava MK-012 and have only briefly played around with it. I ran it into an MBox into Pro Tools at 24bit 48K. Unfortunately I don't have a good voice to test with, lots of smacks, pops, etc. I was also recording with both computer systems running (albeit one of them is in an Isobox). So, no real world test yet, but the mics seems decent. I'm looking forward to trying it out for real on the next project.
I was wondering if anyone has purchased the M3 for it. If so, are you using it for voice over and how do you like it? Price is okay, but if I was going to get it, I'd be hoping for something a little better than say an AT3035.
