Oktava - battery powered phantom adapter?

Yeah the Denecke adapter seems like it's what I am after.

It would just be more visually slick.
- Simple design
- Black
- and look more integrated into the original mic; instead of a blue rectangular box

I think the problem is that I want my gear to look pretty

Just wondering if anyone had any ideas for this? This thread is a bit old. I have been looking forward to the Tascam DR 40 but it looks like it may drain quickly on phantom power. I looked at external power distribution but they can add up to a lots of money. Even the external pack for the tascam dr 40 http://tascam.com/store/bp-6aa/ is $40 and I am not sure how much longer an extra 6 batteries would provide.

From what I have read the Dr 100 with internal and external batteries on phantom can go 3+ hours. So if I need to start buying an external battery like the bp-6aa the price gap between the Dr 40 and Dr 100 isn't as great as it initially seems.

But anyway, just trying to get an idea on power sources.
