Okay... so I'm watching DVXtrek... thinking about The Movies game...

... and about games and video in general. Or rather VIDEO GAMES in general. What a great way to learn camera and lighting technique. That's what I always liked about good animation... nothing ever happens by accident.

So anyway... if you haven't seen any of the Red vs. Blue comedy (made by taping Halo and running the characters as actors) you should give it a quick look... but really impressed me was this CLICK THIS

Give it a full minute at least.

It gives me goosebumps.

Did anybody that clicked that link make it to the vocals?

If you didn't see how well sync'ed up that is you missed the point. It's a cool way to see the entire story of the HL2 game condensed into 3 minutes for that matter.

I can't believe nobody else was wowed by this?

Matt my son turned me on to Red vs Blue the first episode and he's downloaded everyone since. Those guys have made a career out of it. Its great stuff and we can all learn from it. (my son constantly wants to do his own). This Half life video is great! The sync is really well done, nice find. I'm a little disappointed in the movies game, I was hoping for something I could use as a storyboard generator. Oh well Red vs Blue Rocks! As does Halo(I'm a 51 year old Halo fan). It pays to listen to the younger generation they are tremendously creative and each new generation puts their stamp on the world. Great stuff!
