OH BOY OH BOY! Just shot myself in the foot and need help... :/

well, I really did it this time. After doing my photoshoot with Aaron I forgot to set my camera back to 720-24PN.

I went and filmed on location for two days and everything was accidentlly filmed in 1080i/24P

AGHHHHHH

So now, as you know David, I have a pull down problem. How can I fix this very important footage and save this 1955 dry lake racing flashback scene ? I want to edit it with other footage shot in 720-24PN, which is what my entire film has been shot as.

I need step by step instructions. How do I make it compatible with the rest of my footage?

I think I remember you saying that vegas coudl not do it so it sounds like I may need help from someone with Final Cut pro maybe? Or?

HELP!!! Damsel in distress...

PS: Boohoohooo. Live and learn.

Below, a screengrab form the footage:

Well . . .

I wish I had better news, but you can't do much about it in Vegas. Do you have access to any other software? Adobe CS3 or CS4? If so, there may be a way to convert it to 720/24p files.

You COULD, in Vegas, try to render them out as Raylight 720/24p files, but as Vegas sees it as interlaced footage, the results will likely be less than ideal.

No, I know I have to go through another software to fix this. Maybe Luis has a software that could work... All I have is vegas. Would FCP do it? Do you know what the procedure to convert footage to 720-24PN is?

Anyone??
