Offline (LoRes) editing in Premiere

Anyone have any idea how to capture lo res footage for editing in premiere? I cannot for the life of me figure out how to capture in low res. I'll be shooting on a DVX100a in 24PA mode, but I'll be editing in premiere pro 1.5 on a laptop, so i need the low resolution version of the footage to put together a rough cut on location. Is this possible?

It's not ideal, but it's what I have.

Any help would be appreciated.

New Project/ Go to Custom Settings: Change "Editing Mode" to VIDEO FOR WINDOWS instead of DV Playback as shown below:::

Change Frame size to 320 x 240 and PAR to Square Pixels 1.0 as shown below::

This should capture at the reduced size.
