Now that CS5 is out, with some form of CUDA acceleration for rendering (which my compy is up to spec with and a Quad Core).
I would like to know, are there any efficient codecs that play back/preview in real time for premiere?
I could just use DV-AVI like before, but I wouldn't mind using a low-res 2-4mbps codec (MPEG-4/XviD, H.264/x264), perhaps its not the greatest idea... codec suggestions other than DV-AVI welcome though
Also, something which I haven't tried yet, does offline/online work with Dynamic Link if you for some reason go to AE and back to Premiere again with some effects? (which might be pointless in several cases, esp DPX/Log).
