Official Tim Tebow thread

So Mr. Perfect bagged the Heisman. Traditionally this is a bad omen for college players, especially QB's. It looks like Tebow may keep the tradition alive by flopping in the NFL. Apparently his mechanics are wrong and there are other issues as well. Ever notice a lot of his highlights show wobbly spirals?

The NFL has never figured out how to draft QB's. Joe Montana was too small, slow, and weak to play in the NFL--oh and that's right, he became the best ever. Tom Brady? Who the hell ever heard of him in college? The raiders have a surefire tomato can in LSU's Jamarcus Russel. All I can fathom is that what matters in the nNFL is what's between your ears. The ability to stay poised, read defenses in a nano second, and deliver the ball quickly. Tim Tebow is a good bet to become the first fulltime 25 yearold missionary in the Philippines with a Heisman. Were I a betting man, and I am, I'd put money on Colt Brennan to hit it in the NFL.

The Heisman has nothing to do with the NFL. Tebow was hands down the best college football player this year. He played the style of game that the Gators needed this year and you'll see him start to play more of a traditional quarterback position over the next 2 years so then you can guess if he'll flop or not. Brennen has more of an NFL game, but he's probably going to have to get rid of that side armed release if he's gonna get his passes over NFL linemen.
