I just spent 8 hours. Yes, 8 hours completely resorting and re organizing everything in my edit suite. Files, books, tape archives, everything sorted labeled and organized.
I feel fantastic. You would not believe how much more productive an uncluttered space is. My office was never really messy, but it was never extremely organized either. You know; the need-to-file-that-drawer with papers from the last 3 months stuffed in it. all organized and sorted.
So I am encouraging everyone to give your edit spaces an enema before the new year. Time well spent.
