Whenever I import a huge still (say 2000x1600 or whatever), in the Source Monitor it looks right in terms of sharpness.
However, in the Program Monitor (even if I "Scale to Frame") the same image looks a little bit blurred and fuzzy. Furthermore, I'm not overzooming on the image which would normally cause pixelation.
My preferences are NTSC DV preset, editing in DV 24p, so the frame size is much smaller than the image itself. Even if I export the movie to AVI, the movie plays the stills in a slightly blurred fashion.
What could be causing this? Is it something normal that I'm ignorant about?
