Odd Aspect for HD Video

Dear fellow FCP or FCS experts:

I'm starting a project that's going to be displayed in a big 2800x 768 screen. That's a very odd aspect ratio. I'm going to shoot in either 1980x 1080 (DVCPRO HD 1080P) or 720p. What do you guys suggest I do? should I shoot 1080p or 720p. How will my image look upscalled to that?

Should I be doing the upscalling in FCP, Motion, or After Effects?

The display is done by three different projection screens working at the same time.

Also, they are using windows machines to power the system. What format should I export the Video. I tried doing a 2800x 768 composition in Motion. Its doable. If I export a quicktime movie using the jpeg2000 codec, will it work on the Windows machine? I know windows can't see the dvcprohd codec (and its frame size certainly doesn't support 2800x 768!), so any suggestions for a coddec to playback the video with some quality? Thanks in advance!

Shoot @ as high rez as possible.

The jpeg 2000 codecs looks like a good way to go, it will be readable on a Win with QT AFAIK, but it is supposed to be rather tasking on playback equipment and takes a looong time to encode. Haven't used it myself yet, but these are the answers I've just got.

Thanks a lot guys. Will do the testing. The Windows machine is not using a raid disk, so I'm a bit skeptical about the Jpeg2000 encoding working on playback. But will give it a try. Any suggestion for another encoder?
