Some reviews of LIGHTING for Film and Television on Udemy:

"The knowledge and skills taught in this course are essential for filmmakers. You can take a three day seminar and spend $1000 or $1500 or take this course. The production value is also excellent. These guys are really good educators. I can't recommend this course enough"

"This course offers the best explanation of lighting and lighting techniques I have yet encountered. Other sources on lighting either just cover the basics (three point lighting), leave too many unanswered questions (particularly 'why' questions), or over complicate with technical jargon, physics and mathematics. For the first time I have encountered a source that demystifies lighting, and answers all my questions. The production quality, as it was originally a DVD release, is excellent."

"This is very good course, gives a very strong foundation for a beginner, and provides a good refresher and tips for the more advanced. I have been doing Lighting for several years now, both in the field and in a TV Studio, mostly video production, and this course gave me information to make my shots better. The 3-point lighting was great, lots of good info for a beginner, and very good refresher for the more advanced. The information about Exposure, Zebras, and Wave Forms, was great....and will be very useful to me. The only criticism, if I had any (not really), would be...I would have liked the same detail that was in the 3-point lighting instruction, in the three Camera set up (taking into full account, every studio lighting grid is different). I took Wrightsville Beach Studios course on "Lighting for Film and Television", as a refresher and a get back to basics (having never had a formal education in production - mostly just a lot of workshops and an excellent instructor at my local public access station), I liked this one so much, so decided to take their other course "Sound for Film and Television", both fulfilled my needs, above and beyond - walked away from both (or at least the computer screen, LOL) having felt I learned some new things, I was not disappointed. I hope they continue to make more courses on Film and Television production...I would love to see a course like "Chromascreen for Film and Television: beginner to advanced", by Wrightsville Beach Studios. Thanks for your courses!"

"I have bought the top selling books on Amazon.com and watched the most popular videos on YouTube about film lighting but this leaves them all in the shade. I love the practical real world insights . . . awesome!"

"This is a great course. It covers basic concepts without dragging on, but also uses those concepts to highlight deeper aspects of lighting. So it takes you on a trip through the land of lighting, and brings you to a destination where accomplished experts share valuable advice. The course content is seamless and well articulated, and leads to a place of completeness in instructional quality."

"These people know their stuff. They really do. This course is worth every penny I spent on it and much more. I am 150% satisfied"

"I looked all over Youtube and for tutorial websites and nothing comes close to this course. Simple, clear instructions and in-depth demonstrations. Fantastic!"
