Obtaining Concert Performance Rights

I'll be filming a high school chorus concert in about a month and selling DVD and CD copies of the performance to the parents and students. Since it's retail, will I need to obtain the rights to the songs? If so, how would I go about that? I'll probably produce 40-50 DVDs and 20-30 CDs. I searched the forums but didn't really find anything mentioning this specifically (probably used the wrong key words).

You will need to find out who owns the publishing rights to each and every song that you intend to record and put on the CD and/or DVD. They will then either grant you permission and let you know the fees or they will not allow you to do it. To find who owns the publishing, get a copy of the songs on cd or vinyl and it should have the publishers name and contact info on it or do a search on google and type in the song title and the word publisher.
