I am looking for the Europe version of ASCAP or BMI.
I know they hand music but I am wondering if there is someone that handles Royalties for film. Who controls it an so forth.

I will be producing a short this summer and need just a few clips from a movie (Documenty) the BBC LTD produced.
It is called "Miracle of Birth"

I would like to find someone to obtain permission to use.
Of course this footage would be manipulated to fit the subject. It wouldn't even know it came from the film, but I just wanted to have permission to do is if I could.
I am trying to go for the "Look who's talking" look.

You will need to contact the Library Sales Department at BBC Worldwide Americas in New York to obtain the rights you require--(212) 705-9399 or www.bbcmotiongallery.com. They handle all licensing of BBC footage. Warning, it's usually like $300/second. Not sure what your final use will be.
