Only works on 1xxx and above cards. My 965m will not let me switch to that channel so I still need to use the game ready drivers. From talk on the Resolve forum, this new driver can make a big difference to some people with Resolve.
I'm guessing Avid is so far behind that I won't see the need for these with Media Composer for almost a year. They don't really use the GPU for much of anything anyway.
Yes, and a patch update from Microsoft also fixed part of the issue. The big problem was a combination of nVidia driver and Microsoft patch combined, revert one or the other and things were better. MS had a better patch released before nVidia. But the Creator Driver is still a bit better for video (vs. gaming).
