collecting her shell-shocked wits.
There dropped (from a glider)
an H-bomb beside her
which frightened Miss Muffet to bits.


Mary had a little lamb
with mint jelly, mashed potatoes, and gravy.


I taught those to my little niece and nephew, and barely made it out of their mom's house alive, when she heard what I was teaching them...
 
I see you've found the proper role for an uncle. I just hope my brother and brother-in-law don't return the favor!
 
I could recite Jabberwocky when I was 4. Those were the days.

Haven't heard it once since I was barely speaking but I'll see how far I can get: 'twas brillig and the slithy toathes did gire and gimble in the wabe. all memsy were the borrow groves and the mome wraths out gabe.

No idea if that's correct...

edit -- looked it up and I did way better than I thought I would have.
