NTSC to pal

Hello all,

I edit a tv show using 1080i60 hdv footage.

An agent is selling our show in Finland,
And they want all of our episodes on a hard drive.
So an .mov file would do.

They want our show in PAL format. Can this be done
In final cut pro?

You should bring the show to a dub house that has an Alchemist or Teranex to do the conversion. Those boxes will do the best quality conversion in real time.

a Dub house is not an option.

Just what utilities i have. FCP, Compressor.

Sure you can just render out with PAL settings from FCP- quality is crap that way though. But I guess it's not a paying gig so no dub house. If you have a few bucks to spare- this will do a much better http://www.nattress.com/Products/standardsconversion/standardsconversion.htm
