Hello all,
I've got a client who will be playing her DVD on a DVD player from Singapore in a booth there. We have shot the video in the US with NTSC 1080p/30 on a MkII. I have been editing in FCP at the full 1920x1080 resolution, and the 30fps framerate.
I am aware of the two significant differences between the two standards, but still have questions I need answered before I can author this video to DVD.
I will be using Encore, and I will be authoring a Region Free disc. My questions are:
1. In terms of ratio, I am still confused as to whether I am to CROP to the 720x576 or STRETCH the video? Are there other options?
2. In terms of frame rate. I have shot this video in 30 on a MkII. Will I export as 25fps, and will this accomplish a proper framerate conversion?
I am aware of alternative software for download, but could use suggestions. Has anyone got a wealth of experience with this, and can they help me out? =)
