NTSC DVD on PAL computer?

Will an NTSC DVD (no country code) play on a desktop or laptop computer in a PAL country (england)? Is there any reason why it wouldn't work?

I need to send some footage to a client in London for approval, can they view it OK on a computer, or would I have to convert it PAL for some reason?

Should work fine! Computers will play either format since the signal is never converted to analog. I've done this often without problems.
