NOW THATS A DEMO reel.

Looks like this cat has got quite the range as a DP...

but one thing's bugging me.

Why the hell is Emeril Lagasse in such a hurry to sound that alarm? Did he finally kick it up a proverbial notch too far?

Well, that demo reel is OK, I guess. But just wait 'til I add some of that retirement video from Lincoln Financial to my reel. Yeah, you just wait, Glen MacPherson. You have Sam Jackson in your reel? Well, I've got Terri from accounting telling that HILARIOUS story about the time Bob rearranged all the knick-knacks on the boss's desk. Classic stuff.

Looks real good. He has put in a lot of time and money into that.

Notice the majority of the shots are expensive looking high-to-low pans/dolly, etc.

Ha! That's funny.™ :cheesy: :)

Yea i just saw his movie, 16 blocks which was surprisingly good. I loved the lgghting descided to read up on him. hes done alot.

The actual reel shots didn't really do it for me. The content was impressive for a body of work though. I have a few sweet links to DP reels but I keep them for my private stock. Mostly commercial DPs.

well he's a member of the ASC, so you can kind of expect the work to be nothing less than professional.

check out Lance Acord if you wanna see a impressive reel. sorry i can't find a link to his reel but credits include: Lost in Translation, Buffalo66, lots of commercials,....

also check out M. David Mullen

:)

Buffallo66, I have that sitting here and I keep meaning to watch it all the way through. So far what I have watched is really good. I love works like from Zhao Xiaoding, he did an amazing freaking Job in House of Flying Daggers and he camera operated on Hero. Both of those movies are stunning in visual design.
