Is there any way to have notes in FCP? Like if I get an idea and I don't want to forget it can I jot it down somehow and it'll be in FCP? I guess what I'm talking about is something like they have in Photoshop, it's like these little sticky notes and you can write whatever you need on them.

Does FCP have something like this?

Sticky notes no. But in the browser there are many columns you can use for this purpose. The most obvious would be the Log Notes column. You can drag that over to the left if you want it easier to get to. Otherwise I think there are "Master Columns" available the can be used just like the Log Notes column basically (they are basically type whatever you want into the field columns). Good luck.

cheers.

Another option is to add a marker to your clip and then you can add coments in the marker edit menu. By going to Mark>Markers>Edit
