Hey. Not sure how to light a scene like this. Yesterday (Outside) it was bright & sunny, so naturally I had to expose for it because the sky & clouds were getting blown out. But now the actors also get darker. So, the right thing to do is to light them from a light source, correct? Thanks.

Yes, light them up with an HMI or shiny board.

That and/or knock down the sky with a polo or grad.

I agree with J, use a reflector or two to light them up and you should be good to go.

I recommend also adding a silk, butterfly or overhead to soften the light as well if possible.
