Nosfera: Two

Re: Nosfera: Two

Very well done.

I love that: "Well, now that the vampire is defeated, I can go back to sleep." :D

Re: Nosfera: Two

Anyway, that was cool. If I might make a suggestion, make the shots of the girl more contrasty. I loved the house, though . . .

Re: Nosfera: Two

Check you monitor calib.  It's looks more video black and white and not the crushed film back and white.  I agree with DJ; contrast.

I do believe the monitor I compressed the clip on was a bad one, calibration likely is the issue. When I have a chance I'll post a new one with proper black levels :)

Thanks for the critique though! My first time using actual film.

Re: Nosfera: Two

No need for the wink Mike.

It looks great; artistically and technically. Just looked "Ghostly" or a "Viel" like transperency.

ONe day Im gonna shove one of those 'wink faces' up someones...

Re: Nosfera: Two

Of course; but I hate that damn winky. Everytime I see it posted by someone (Not you; anyone) it's like a "Oh! I just pulled a fast one!" or a "Oh! You are the fool now!"

Hate it.

And your film does look like film; although I assumed it was the DVX. JUst the "Er...." and "Winky" makes me search drantically for the 'Straight Face Emoticon.'

LOL Man I need some therapy. :D

I know I know; don't take my "grumblings" to literal either! Just me 'mumbling' lol

Re: Nosfera: Two

I totally thought that was DVX footage too. It is very cool that they can be confused so easily.

I like the winky. ;)

It's a form of expression John! :D

Re: Nosfera: Two

:D

You can see the grain and dust on the DV version, but when compressed it really becomes harder to distinguish!
