northfork - anybody see it?

Re: northfork - anybody see it?

I've heard good things, and bad things, never seen it

Re: northfork - anybody see it?

It's... different. Kind of like a fairy tale.

Best thing going for it is David Mullen's cinematography. That man is just plain gifted. It's hard to believe that he is that good, and spends so much time in online forums sharing his knowledge the way he does. Be sure to check out Twin Falls, Idaho.

Re: northfork - anybody see it?

cool. what sites does he post on? Is there somewhere where I could ask him a question?

Re: northfork - anybody see it?

Search the web for David Mullen. He used to post a lot on DV and 2-Pop, but I think he's given up on those. I believe he still visits cinematography.com and others.

Re: northfork - anybody see it?

Yes, David frequents Cinematography.com a lot. He also shot Jackpot (on HD) which was a bit different too.

Re: northfork - anybody see it?

Never saw Jackpot... but he's just awesome. Incredibly talented, and incredibly giving -- he always takes time to help and to answer questions. I was quite pleased to see "ASC" get added after his name -- that guy is good.

Re: northfork - anybody see it?

It's pretty crazy when you look at how many posts he's made on cinematography.com, and then see how many films hes SHOT on the imdb. One would think a man as busy as him wouldn't have time (or the care) to help out on forums.

VERY talented and VERY nice.

Responding to the question - I haven't seen it, but have heard similar reviews to Barry's.
