Northeast Ohio Filmmakers Group

Hello all. For the past year or so I have been working seriously in the filmmaking industry in Akron, Ohio. One thing I noticed is that it is difficult to find others who have the skills I'm looking for when I need to hire someone freelance for a job. So, it hit me, why not make a dvxuser style forum specifically for people in Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Youngstown, Medina, Mansfield, etc. or simple Northeast Ohio.

The point of the forum is to help people collaborate on indie projects, for pay projects, and any other film project you have. By having more people work together on projects, we can all enhance eachother's projects... at least that's the idea. So check it out, sign up and post your skills/experience.

NOTE: Right now the forum is just a subdomain of my website, but I do plan to get a domain for the group if it gets a fair amount of members.

Thanks!

I could be wrong, but I don't think dvxuser would appreciate you soliciting traffic to your site. With 4 posts and all, one can't help but wonder your intent. Either way,

It might not be a bad idea to run this thread by a mod or admin to double check.

it's in off-topic, and its just for a site like dvxuser.

Good to know there's other people making it work locally. I'm Akron/Athens based. Get in touch if you ever need freelance help, I have a small network in the area to draw from.
