North Hollywood used lighting equipment sale

[rob norton]

You guys are lucky to have access to sales like these - http://www.woodennickellighting.com/Public/mainutilitypages/wnmainframe.html

Their website is atrocious - not quite but nearly approaching a geocities aesthetic!?

Anyway seems like some stuff would be great to pick up used.

Well, 90s nostalgia IS in these days so...

But Wooden Nickel's website has always been like that, it's kind of endearing in a way. I've been renting and buying gear from them for more than a decade, they're a pretty good rental house.

I'm sure they're a fantastic rental company, I was only talking about the site's look, not commenting on its usability or the company being unprofessional. It's probably more difficult to maintain a website like that today than a squarespace etc. so it must be a style choice.

It'd be a testament to their rental business too. You'd rather a set up like this than the inverse - a nice website which is more of a front for a company not actually having much of the equipment they're pretending to.

Man, if I ever need some dimmers, I know where to go.

Mmm well...they rent cheap and you tend to get what you pay for.l
