Noob: avchd from GH1 issue

Hello,

I am trying to use Premiere, but have an issue. If I create a project and import a raw avchd file from GH1, I see pulsing in the playback in the preview window.

Do I need to transcode an AVCHD file?

What is the best way to create a project. In Vegas I know I am can actually have Vegas analyze the file to create the project properties.

Use the Media Browser to bring in clips.

You can drag a clip to the New Item icon at the bottom of the Project pane and it will create a sequence with the correct settings.

Make sure to set your monitor playback resolution to Full. It's set at 1/2 by default.
