Non-swear words

I'm trying to go clean with this screenplay, just to open up my audience a bit. Looking for some of your fave & effective PG-13 insults. I'm impartial to "moron", but I could use a database from some other screenwriters...something more intense than "nerd" but not so "$%#@*&".

Perhaps you'd be best localizing the insults (I assume the audience is from Canada) and also adjusted to the age demographics of the audience. This also gets into the soul of the actors, whether they are legacy, traditional, chic, etc. You might even want to consider parroting other en-vogue media (popular TV show, etc) or conversely using a sarcastic parody based on inflection, timing/pace, etc.

Then again, perhaps you're looking for something unique and forums like this could be helpful. Let's see, off the cuff my contributions would be:

- Dickweed Dandy
- Buckwheat (dated from the Little Rascals but the inflection always works well)

Also consider name adaptations of unpopular political or other famous celebrities if the insult hits the mark.

"You know I always thought Matt Damon was a bit of a Streisand, but he rocks in this movie."

To answer the main question watch Dodgeball, or Zoolander or Anchorman.

Anchorman has great ones because nobody but Will Ferrell would think of "You're a smelly hooker that lives with pirates!"

Not this time, I'm making a point to keep out all the allusions to confine the characters to themselves.
I didnt know my target audience was supposed to be exclusively from Canada. Maybe I'll throw in some igloo humour....or maybe your just being Buckwheat haha.
I dont think that this is really about it being a kid movie, but I think in this case it'd be classier not to cuss. Thanks so far

It's very British, but one of my favorite insults of all time is "silly moo". I forget which movie that was from (might have been My Beautiful Launderette)?

Also very British, but "slag" is always satisfying ("she's a right slag, that one").

Oscar Wilde is not a bad source to study. Here are some quotes from "The Importance of Being Earnest";

“Relations are simply a tedious pack of people, who haven’t got the remotest knowledge of how to live, nor the smallest instinct about when to die”

“All women become like their mothers. That is their tragedy. No man does. That’s his”

"You seem to be displaying signs of triviality"

"35 is a very attractive age. London society is full of women of the very highest birth who have, of their own free choice, remained 35 for years"

“The only way to behave to a woman is to make love to her, if she is pretty, and to someone else, if she is plain”

“Women only [call each other sister] when they have called each other a lot of other things first”

“In married life, three is company and two is none”

"To lose one parent, Mr. Worthing, may be regarded as a misfortune. To lose both looks like carelessness."

It seems like nowadays you can sneak in anything...even motherf!@#! as long as it's not used as its true meaning.

Then there's the lards. Lardbutt, ect.

Spielberg fit some pretty nasty insults into Hook, and that was PG, I can't remember then off the top of my head.

And of course the classic from E.T. ..."penis breath."

mad love for asshat
I was wondering if it was too much though

although 1408 was pg13 and Samuel Jackson said "It's an evil f'ing room"
maybe the MPA has a different standard for him though, lol
it's just taken as a given that he's going to drop at least one "f" bomb

Jackhole is a perfect melding of non broadcast word and legit one
or try "effing" _________. I don't know if "eff" is legit or not. eff you , eff that, eff this etc.

if you write/shoot sci-fi you can just make stuff up.
