NON Dynamic link work flow Premiere and AE

I purchased adobe pp cs5.5 and I am able to do most of the things that I need in PP but I have many effect options and presets in AE cs5 that I would like to use like twitch and Genart stuff. I would like to cut in ppro and add effects to individual clips using AE cs5. I dont have Dynamic link and when I right click on individual clips in PPro the replace with ae comp is not available either since I dont have production premium. WHen using my buddies cs5 master collection I was able to just right click on a ppro clip and make changes in after effects and the changes would appear in ppro. If anyone can recommend a decent work flow I would appreciate it.

You can copy a clip from Premiere and paste it inside of an After Effects composition. Eran Stern and Andrew Kramer have illustrated this concept on their respective sites showing how this is possible.
