NON AI Lenses/SgPro Question...

I don't own an SGPro, but my experience is that non AI lenses are perfectly fine with any of the adapters. AI is just a coupling for the auto exposure system of the older Nikons. There is no auto exposure in any of these. They all use the basic nikon mount. So its basically irrelevant and makes these older lenses a good buy.
 
check out reviews on any lens...even the pre-AI's, some are much better than others. The SGPro isnt the answer to all your resolution needs...its the lens you choose to put on it.
 
I use pre=AI lenses and found that the glass to be very superior vs what is out now. The only bad thing about it is that you cannot use them on your digital SLR camera because of the focus pin obstruction. But for the SGpro and others it is irrelevent.
