Hello,
Last night I finished up a all day shoot (5:15 am to 9:30 pm! OUCH!) & the thing that really bothered me was the noise my Audio Technica AT897 made when it bounced a little bit while was mounted on my 100b.
So I had to be REAL careful not to move to sudden or quick, which is hard to do while you're shooting a documentary. Does anyone have any tricks to avoid this, besides putting it on a stationary boom set-up!
Actually when I had it on a boom pole & stationary holder, the mic made a TERRIBLE noise if we moved that a bit too.
So is there an alternative holder than the one on the 100b & to put on a boom pole? Or is the AT897 known to be very sensitive?
Thanx in advance!
