I really don´t want to buy NEAT, so I was wondering is there are any effective workflows for noise removal on CS5. The noise is actually originated during the color correction process as I work the footage more than it can actually take.
To be honest, third party plugins are the best way to go, especially when it comes to noise removal. On the other hand, I would suggest using the Remove Grain effect in After Effects. Without getting too technical, adjusting Temporal FilterIng to a value that doesn't make your image too soft might be just what you need. If necessary, you can also add a Sharpen but try and keep it to a minimum for the best possible look.

I find that most objectionable noise is in the shadows - maybe you are cranking up the shadows too much and then bringing them down in a later step, or cranking up the chroma too far with the saturation control.
If that is not the case, you can minimize some noise with the 'median' filter. Sometimes the noise is highest in one channel (usually blue) and you can apply a slight blur to just that channel.
If you are really doing LOTs of correction on video, you'll want to use After Effects which includes the Remove Grain tool. It's a powerful tool but not a very intuitive working environment. See bgodoy's suggestions above.
