Noga mini articulating arm?

I am looking to get a Noga or similiar brand mini articulating arm that will be able to screw into my "cold" shoe on the camera. This will be used to hold a LED light I am about to purchase. Ive noticed prices in the range of $165. Are there any for less than that or is that about the price everyway? I am going to do a quick search on Ebay too. Wonder if anyone has a used one in good shape! I need the arm when I use that kind of light with my Matte box. For some reason the matte box cuts off some of the throw of the light so I would need to place the light just above the matte box instead of resting it on the handle where the cold shoe is.

I have an Israeli arm like you describe: http://cinemasupplies.stores.yahoo.net/isar1baand1t.html and I use it for a 7" monitor on a Fig Rig. I really like it.

I think the best/cheapest solution for what you want to do is this:

NRG-59111.jpg

http://www.evsonline.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=59111

It is $100 cheaper, will do what you want, will give you 2 more open shoe mounts and it cures cancer.

Hope that heps.

Thanks I just bought an Israeli arm yesterday from Filmtools. Markertek.com has the same arm for $109 but they were sold out and I needed one this weekend so I had to shell out the extra bucks from filmtools!
