Great!!

This is exactly what I was hoping for. I totally missed that screw mount in the Redrock rails. Now I don't have to buy a clamp. :)

The only thing that might be better is if the screw mount was located on the opposite side so that I could position the Marshall closer to the RR Follow Focus.

How can I balance out the camera weight with the Marshall attached to the RR rails as pictured?

BTW the Mini Cardellini clamp looks like an alternative that might provide better balance, since it puts the weight directly in the center.

Thanks for all the help everyone!

From the looks of the pictures, and my own testing, it seems that with the Marshall positioned so close to the component out jack, there is some need for a shorter cable (similar to the one included with the HVX). Any links?

Would it be a better option than wrapping the extra cable around the handle?

It is located on the opposite side. Here Brian turned 180° part of baseplate

It is an IDX battery, big and heavy. This setup was a little too heavy for the Cartoni Focus head. I never thought of mounting the noga arm to the redrock base plate. I like the cardellini clamps because of it's versatility and use it quite a bit as a video assist monitor when I mix sound.

wow ddent, nice setup, real nice man.

Is that a large battery behind the Marshall (reflecting back)? If so, you must have a lot of weight up there.

Thanks for the tip on the heavy duty Noga, that was a question floating around in my mind.

Monster setup ddent. Mini Cardellini (MMC) with the thread mount looks like a handy clamp. I just received my Cartoni Focus FS-101. Not impressed with the plastic quick release plate, and just ordered a metal replacement. Good feedback in this thread, helpful for the Marshall/Noga approach in due course. Thanks guys.
