No Words Adequate.

"It's Nicky's time to go." That makes me sick. Leaving a boy alone with two pit bulls. It's your time to go, lady.

Animals take better care of their young.

"Typical Nicky, he didn't listen to me." TYPICAL? The woman knew her son wouldn't listen and she still left him alone, locking the door with just a SHOVEL. Please don't let this woman get away with this.

' Typical Nicky, he wouldn't listen to me."

"It's Nicky's time to go," she said in the interview. "When you're born you're destined to go and this was his time."

Are you ****ing kidding me? This ***** should be burned at the stake. Can you imagine me saying to my little Jared "Son; stay in the garage while I bail for awhile. DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR for the PIT BULL will eat you." Agggggggggggggggh. I hear this crap and just want to live on a Island.

Wasn't there a poster recently moaning about PIT BULL Laws or something?

Yes, there was a guy named "f**kohiofilms" or something. He is pro-pitbulls.

Pittbulls dont kill people, ..idiots who breed pitbulls kill people.

John, is there room on that island for me? I don't need much food.

Contrary to what alot of people may believe, Pitbulls make great pets and *CAN* be very gentle loving animals. It's the assholes to who raise them to fight and be mean. That's where they get a bad name.

Another very sad San Francisco dog story. There have been several fatal and nearly fatal maulings in the Bay Area - it makes one wonder when these breeds are going to be outlawed.

NPR ran an interesting story about how, while American pit bulls aren't necessarily more prone to attacking humans, they are two times more likely than all other breeds to be involved in fatal maulings.

I have several good friends who keep these dogs in quiet, docile home environments. Even when kept in these favorable situations, they all act aggressively when exposed to other dogs on or off-leash.

The mother's response is hard to hear, and she'll live with her mistake for the rest of her life. Diane Whipple got the same treatment in death after she was blamed outright by the defense for being in the hallway outside her own apartment.

People never cease to amaze me, but nothing surprises me anymore.

my sister used to have a couple of rotwieler-pitbull terriers.. oh wait they werent hers.. they were her drug dealer boyfriends..fiance .. whatever. .. anyway it was a real "winning " situation. trust me.. .anyway they were freindly but i never.. ever trusted them.. ive been atacked by dogs 3x in my life.. one had rabies. i dont sit easy around them, and probably never will.

that lady should go to jail for child neglect and wreckless endangerment.

reservoir - I agree. Tigers can make great pets too, if raised well. But domesticating some animals won't necessarily get rid of the basic nature of the animal. It could bite you because that's what animals do to protect themselves, their territory, or to feed themselves. Even a pug can bite. ...Some dogs have been bred to be good hunters. Some to be show dogs. Pittbulls have been bred to be aggressive. Knowingly housing TWO pittbulls, whether you raised them well or not, is potentially more dangerous than having a golden retriever.

P.K. I have room; make reservations now cause the Ark is leaving.

I agree on both counts here. People raise these animals a certain way. I read once regaridng the PB Controversy is that 'people who want an aggressive dog get the Put Bull whereas the persons who do not want the agro dog stears clear of the Pit Bull.' This results in a majority of Pit Bulls being aggressive that are run across.

I'm with Overland; They do have a tendency to be aggressive. It's in their nature I believe.

Like that damn vicious character in the Little Rascals.

Oh...wait a sec...it wasn't Petey who killed someone, it was Robert Blake.

My bad. ;-)

Then you're going to let me sit on that helmet naked and I'm
gonna show you how we do things in the US Army!

I won't disagree with the *aggressive by nature* thing.....I mean....I've seen Tigers who are VERY well treated, go crazy and start attacking. Look what happened to Sigfried and Roy!!

I myself was *raised* pretty good I guess......but I'm still aggressive by nature.
