I have not encountered this problem before. FCP will no longer show video when I play back my sequences (any project), and still image is exported over the firewire to my monitor. The audio plays, but in the canvas it is black (no picture). ALL OF THESE SEQUENCES USED TO WORK. Can anyone think of something that I may have done? All I can think of is that my media drive is too full. I recently captured an hour and a half of new footage and I now have only 32 gigs available. Seems like it should still work, but that is really the only thing I have changed. I also recently cleared the autosave vault, but I assume that should have not effect. Clips will play from the media drive in the viewer, but those same clips in the timeline show nothing. I am using a powermac G4 single 867mhz. I appreciate any help.
