No Timecode capture-able

Hey guys,

I got a tape that has no timecode, it does for the first 20 minutes then the numbers stuck, tape still plays though. Is there a way I can capture on FCP this tape without timecode requirements?

Use capture now. That will work without timecode.

I did that, it says waiting for timecode.

Set AV Prefs - > Device Control -> non-controlable device.
