No Superman spot in Superbowl? - hmmmm

Superman's coming out this summer. It's the WBs biggest gamble (considering the money involved and the number of people on and off the project and the public's questionable interest in the franchise) maybe ever.

And they don't put a spot on the Superbowl? That says a LOT.

Now, the question is, is this the WB losing faith in the project because they've seen it and it's underwhelming? Or is this just some time rush blunder where they couldn't get some effects ready in time?

Things that make you go "Hmmmmmmmm..."

While I, like the all the good members of the Church of the Sub Genius (Praise Bob!) are constantly refining the Universal Unified Conspiracy Theory. I think that the lack of Superman promos during the Super Bowl, and subsequent investigations to malevelence and malfesance there to are a waste of valuable time. I believe that the rampant Superman inspired hype will be upon us within a very short time. I think that the mavons of manipulated consumerism in control of the Superman project did not want the Uber-hype fest they have in store for us lost in the clutter of the super bowl.

Come on..... Just because it didnt have a super bowl spot? Who cares?

It's Superman.

Warner Bros. knows what they have... And thats a blockbuster.

They don't need a super bowl spot, they already have a fanbase, and the comic book film is can't miss genre right now.

Yeah, who wants to advertise to 120 million people? What a silly idea!

I guess I'm rooting for this to tank, cause I never really liked Superman (well okay, I liked the first one when I was a kid) and the creation of this movie has had so many bickering and psychpathic incarnations, starts and stops, egos and highly publicized moronic decisions, firings and hirings and firings and everybody seems to think they know exactly how Superman should look/be/feel. And then they go ahead and give the film to a pedophile (see "shower scene history in Apt Pupil") who lucked out with X-Men (if you thought that was a good movie - which I didn't).

So this just feeds the frenzy. And hopefully it is the beginning of the end for this project.
