no stickypod?

I went to upload a .mov this afternoon and the free hosting is GONE!! But what's worse is that my stuff is still there but it's under user name "stickypod". It's like he took our stuff and won't give us access to it. It's all in his gallery.

maybe they are just upgrading there server -- you know hwo weird it gets here when they do that.

hopefully that's the case.

I can't dis stickypod though -- my stickypod just got me my first "grip gig" which I did for the BBC today, woohoo!
 
yep -- ask me about it in your random thread if you want to, so we don't jack Surf's thread.

I tried to register with Stickypod but I accidentally enetered the wrong email address :(

maybe if they are upgrading servers I can get it sorted out
 
I don't think it's just because of a server upgrade........the whole site is redesigned and the "video gallery" is very specifically ousting us.

I just started uploading to my .mac account instead. But I am not happy about the fact that we have no access to delete our stuff.....and that we've even lost credit for our own work......that sucks!

yeah the whole thing sucks, no warning or nothing.....all my files gone.

I 'm not going to use it anymore, can't trust that this won't happen again.

yeah that does suck -- i hope nobody had stuff ONLY on there -- i.e., not stired somehwere else.

I had like 2 things on there, not mad its gone but i hope it isnt used for anything without my permision. Maybe someone should shoot em an email to see whats up.
 
I sent an email but I don't expect to hear back. The last post in his video forum was Sept. 5 '05, I'm thinking this was planned.

For those of you who have stuff on there......take a look and see if your name is still attached with your work.......mine isn't.
