I just bought an exterior USB creative sound blaster card, and ever since Premiere won't play back sound. I tried the Project > Project Settings > General > playback settings > play audio on audio hadrware button, but that doesn't seem to help. Any suggestions?
Go to the "Sounds and Audio Devices Properties" and check the "Audio" tab. Make certain that your new Sound Blaster device is listed as the "Default device".
