no more worklights for me

maybe i just wasn't looking, but i recently went to lowes to buy a replacement bulb actually for my parents lamp and on the back of the package is this UV warning. did i miss this?

so now i don't feel comfortable setting up a swath of worklights aimed at my actors...sure the sun puts out more UV radiation, but it's just not right :)

nah in all seriousness. i'm actually not liking white balancing to them and seeing purple become a dark blue or denim becoming a green/blue. i'm sticking to pro kits or fluorescents. just my 4 cents and keep the change.
 
I've used the cheap floodlights with the clamps from home depot but with photoflood lamps in them and they work fine without the UV problem. Especially when I use 216 diffusion or color gels. My 2 cents...
