No Modify Button on My Posts

Anyone else having this issue?
I have tried Internet Explorer and Firefox and have the same problem with both and I've never had this problem before, but it seems ...

I have no modify button on older posts.:shocked:
Right after I post something there is a modify button, but later there is not. ( I dunno, maybe a half hour and then the modify button vanishes).

Anyone else like this?

Just wondering if its a glitch or an upgrade or what?

Yeah, it's not working for me either.

EDIT: That's not true, I can modify.
 
I got a notice that says the Administrator has made a setting where you can't edit post older than 12 minutes. I got this when I was in the middle of changing something (I clicked the modify button before the 12 minutes were up.) but didn't submit until after the 12 minute time slot. All it's making me do is post more, to add on to a post that I didn't fully finish or correcting something. Or add something.

(See I just clicked the modify button 4 times. LOL.)

I was told this would be disabled for people who are an exceptional pain in the butt...
 
yeah ... i had to go old school to change my horrorfest poster on the first page of the thread (switching file names and the like), but what's with this 12 min thing?
 
It's not so good for things like editing the first post of a thread you start where you might want to update info or something. Like for a film's thread over a couple of weeks over Horror fest.

Also, It''ll really make those early promo threads for horror fest hard to work with ... unless you're a mod.

I guess, as a work around, if you make a big banner for the first post of a thread like that and just keep replacing the linked image file with a new one by the same name (so the link stays the same) as your film idea changes or you have new BTS info ... if you know a little html and can host the file.

And TC ... try to edit your post now, homie.

At first it just threw me for a loop.

... was true since you and Briceman both seemed able to modify...

just something to get used to and work around I guess.

I guess they can PM Hudson or Jimmerson.

I think Hudson said he would change your title if you changed it ...

but I said "I guess" and "I think" so don't hold me or them to it.

Maybe because people post stuff, then if someone changes it after your replies you look like an idiot... (which is why I like to quote a lot of posts). Also when some people "quit" they clear out all their old posts (like our lovable pookie).
