No Cam For Me Yet

I currently drive a 95 Intrepid w/ 160k miles on it. The other day I took it into the shop to get it looked at. The trannie is shot, gone, outta here. 3000 to replace (n other misc parts). So, now I have to take the money I was saving for a cam and put it on a down payment for a car. Sucks. So now instead of March for my cam, I'll probably have to wait till Dec or Mar of '08. Im sorely dissapointed. Just thought yall oughtta know.
 
what cam were you considering? and sorry to hear about your money situation im the same boat i want a dvx100b but cant afford it. dont you wish we lived in a society where everyone made 5-6 thousand a month so we can all afford cams and the ppl can afford our services.
 
haha yeah, I probably going to get the Sony FX1, but considering I wont be buying for about another year, Prices will probably go down, so it might change by the time I buy
 
sucks bro. if it makes you feel any better, i had to wait over a year to pick up my dvx100b. when i got it though, was it ever worth the wait. at least you have some time to really do your research on several cameras, decide what you want, and then really know the camera as well as you possibly can before actually owning it.

sorry though.
 
$3,000 on a 95? Forget it,,,,,go buy a car. Keep the cash and then get a loan for the car.

Good job, don't ever spend over 1K on a car thats anything older then 3 years, unless of course its a classic or bound to be one.
