No Audio

I was editing and my hard-drive unexpectedly disconnected and the project files got disconnected.

When i restarted final cut and had my hard-drive plugged in again, absolutely no audio is playing back, its reading on the meter but no audio is working. Its coming off fine in every other application except for final cut. Ive tried switching scratch disks as well but no luck in the least. And I've even tried re-installing final cut, still no dice with the audio.

Anyone have any clue how to get my audio back?
 
How are you monitoring- make sure your View Audio settings are going to the output you want them to. Typically this is either to DV out or to built-in speakers.

Your preferences settings got corrupted. Before you change anything, use FCP Rescue to trash your FCP prefs. You should be fine.
