no audio

I'm importing quicktime files and some of the files are losing the audio. what's that all about?

You would have to be way more specific before anyone is going to be able to help. What files? What sample rate? What codec?

close your log and capture window and then see if the audio returns

that's exactly what i did. i quit FCP and then reopened it. Now I got audio. thanks.

same thing happens to me when i have log and capture open on my work computer. I also get this weird problem where I'll be dragging a clip and it will let go of the clip and I never let go of the mouse button. Go figure. FCP is a delicate beast. Restart tends to fix stuff.
